Poor little Isaac. First his mum starts hearing God, then she locks him in a room and then she try's to kill him. His only hope is a hasty escape to the basement. Will he find sanctuary?
Christ no! All he finds are room after room of horrors, determined to kill him. Isaac will die. A lot.

Ooh, this really gives me mixed feelings. I know Starbreeze can make good games and this all nice and future-shooty but I flippin' loved the original games and this ain't them. I'm sure I'll still play it but I'll hold off for Cartel to see if that can give me a proper man management fix.

So this popped up on the interweb yesterday. It looks very interesting, if a little clunky (although plenty of time fix that). Brings to mind Space Hulk crossed with TF2. I have a hard enough time controlling one character let alone four so I'm glad to see multiplayer co-op is on the cards. You can find out more at the Signal Ops website. The team are also trying to raise some funds if you want to help out.

OnLive, that voodoo magic system that allows you to play games over the Internet, has finally launched in UK. The most amazing thing about it is that it actually works. It really does. Download the client, sign up for a free account and you’ll be able to play a bunch of triple-A games regardless of the power of your PC or Mac. There is even a flipping fag packet sized console that will plug into your HDTV for £70 (which they were giving away for free at the Eurogamer Expo). At the moment your first game is only a quid with titles such as Deus Ex: Human Revolution and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine available at launch.
However it's not quite the gaming nirvana it would like you to think it is. Certainly it's a great step towards cloud gaming but it’s not all perfect. For a start you'll need a pretty decent broadband connection to use it and there are some things that need to be taken into consideration. So, for lack of anything more original, what's the good, the bad and the ugly of OnLive?
